WHAT IS ELECTROLYSIS?

Haven’t heard of electrolysis before? No worries — we’re here to help. Electrolysis is the only permanent hair removal procedure recognized and approved by the FDA, and has been in use for more than 130 years. It is equally effective on all hair and skin colors, and all areas of the body can be treated — including eyebrows, chin, upper lip, abdomen, bikini, breasts and legs.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Electrolysis uses timed and regulated currents to damage the root of the hair, along with its reproductive hair cells. A very thin probe is inserted into the hair follicle out of which the hair grows. After the probe is placed, the current is applied. Then tweezers are used to remove the loosened and weakened hair. At our studio we exclusively use the thermolysis method, which means the electrical current destroys the hair root using heat.
